Performing Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at Glastonbury Library
I have many years experience of telling stories and running workshops in schools. I have a degree in Theatre Arts and directed youth theatres for many years.
I will create a selection of stories, games and drama fun specifically to meet your needs.
—Wayne Higgins, Headteacher, Kingsbury Episcopi Primary School
These are a few examples of my school workshops:
Talk Like an Egyptian
Stories of Egyptian gods and goddesses woven with ancient rituals relating to the pyramids and writing simple poems to the river Nile.

Telling stories for children
Speak Out
A day of interactive storytelling to encourage confidence and full self expression.
—Janet Young, Teacher, Lazonby C of E School, Penrith, Cumbria
World Book Day
I bring children’s favourite books to life with hilarious results. Including: James and the Giant Peach, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Hotter than Potter (magic and wonder tales).
—Alex, Librarian, Glastonbury Library
Stories for Young Girls
I have many stories that introduce young women to the gifts and responsibilities of their menstrual cycle. I create a safe space in which they can share their concerns and celebrate their bodies.
—Rosie Foy
INSET day
I have worked with many teachers, supporting them to find their story voices and use their unique gifts and creativity within their classes.

See Hear Storytelling on the SS Great Britain
At 11.00am on the first Tuesday of every month, I tell stories in the Brunel Room of Brunel’s ship SS Great Britain, which is located in Bristol’s Great Western Dockyard. It’s aimed at under-5s, but all are welcome.
