A lot of my work is ceremonial, containing simple rituals and intentions that were once a natural part of life. I find ways to bring them into my storytelling so that we can sit, as our ancestors did, held in the lap of story.

Vision Quest & Spiritual Practice

I walk a path of spirit and vision, having received spiritual training for six years from Chung Fu at Deep Soul Connection. I completed my four-year vision quest commitment ten years ago – four days, seven days, nine days, and finally 13 days alone in the mountains of Spain. These vision quests have been the source of much of my storytelling. To spend time listening to the earth, the wind, the rain and the light is a sacred privilege. To bring the whispers I have heard and transmit them into story is my soul purpose.

Now I support others on their vision quests on the wild moors of Dartmoor, guiding them through their own encounters with solitude, nature, and transformation.

Threshold Retreats

Twice a year I hold threshold retreats, using myth as a landscape to create rites of passage. These transformative weekends take place at the Chalice Well in the heart of Avalon, and in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

What happens in the retreats:

Working with stories like Tatterhood and The Handless Maiden as initiatory experiences

Handmaking books and creating personal mythology

Ritual, shared dreaming, and ancient wisdom

Finding the seeds of ideas that want to grow through winter

Creating awareness of living legacy

Deep listening and witnessing for those choosing initiation

Creating our own earth beneath our feet

Each retreat is limited to 13 participants, creating an intimate container for deep work.

For me, ceremony is a way of life – it is a container, a punctuation, a way to organise life magically so that we can thrive.
