Welcome to The Mythic Hearth
“My life’s work has been blowing the dust from old stories, unwinding them so that the original wisdom can flow through.”
Women Who Run with the Wolves – Winter 2025/26
Starting 12th November | Every other Wednesday 9:30-11:30am | Online
Running until 18th February
Perfect for early birds, this online course journeys through the stories in Clarissa Pinkola Estés’ seminal book Women Who Run with the Wolves every other Wednesday morning through the winter.
About the Course
A couple of years ago, I spent a week at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains listening to my favourite storyteller, Clarissa Pinkola Estés, lay down the bones of her life’s work in a facilitator training. I received her blessing to teach courses based on her transformative book.
This course goes through every story in Women Who Run with the Wolves, using it as a map for the healing of the wild woman archetype. We use ritual, storytelling, dreaming, crafts and sharing to mine the treasures of our psyche.
What We’ll Do
Work deeply with the stories and commentary in the book
Use ritual and ceremony to embody the teachings
Share dreams and reflections in circle
Create crafts that honour the wild woman within
Thoroughly, deeply tend to ourselves, our empowerment, creativity and connection
What You’ll Need
A copy of Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Investment & Booking
£250 for whole course.

Her training in herbal medicine with the Seed connects her work to the earth’s own healing wisdom. Apprenticed to indigenous elders in ceremony and trained by Clarissa Pinkola Estés in the ways of the Wild Woman, Sarah weaves together the art of storytelling, seasonal rhythms, and plant medicine into her teaching. Elder Bard of Glastonbury, Sarah now tends The Mythic Hearth – a place where ancient stories meet modern souls, where the craft of storytelling serves the work of transformation, and where seekers discover both the medicine in old tales and their own capacity to carry wisdom forward.
“I did not know the art of storytelling was so completely alive in this land, I feel moved, gladdened, more complete”
